Tempered glass

Glass securing is the thermal process of heating it up to 700-740 C? and rapid cooling to room temperature – through which the glass becomes 5 times harder, without losing its elasticity. Tempered glass is used for glass walls, double glazing or laminated glazing, etc. - especially for applications requiring the following:

- better resistance to mechanical shocks (glass doors, glass panels fixed in points such as glass railings, etc.).
- better resistance to thermal stress (glass subjected to intense sunlight or are mounted near heat sources such as tinted glass cladding, etc.).
- better protection against the risk of breakage, respectively reduction of the risk of injury.
